जो मुझमें है, वो तू ही तू,

मैं नहीं हूँ, बस तू ही तू।

साँस भी तेरी, धड़कन भी तू,

जो दिखता है, वो भी तू।

What lives within me is You alone.

I am not—there is only You.

The breath is Yours; the heartbeat is You.

Whatever I see is also You.

मैं समझा था मैं ज़िंदा हूँ,

पर ज़िंदगी तो तू निकला।

मैं ढूँढ़ता था ख़ुद को यहाँ,

हर ज़र्रे में तू ही मिला।

I thought that I was alive,

But You turned out to be life itself.

I searched for myself in this world,

And found You in every particle.

३.

आँखों ने जो देखा, सब झूठ था,

दिल ने जो माना, वो तू था।

पर्दा उठा तो राज़ खुला—

मैं कुछ भी नहीं, बस तू ही तू।

What my eyes saw was an illusion;

What my heart recognised was You.

The veil lifted, and the secret was revealed:

I am nothing—there is only You.

मेरा वजूद भी क्या वजूद,

जब हर सिम्त तेरा नूर है।

मैं मिट गया तेरी यादों में,

अब सिर्फ़ तेरा सुरूर है।

What existence can I call my own,

When Your light shines in every direction?

I dissolved in remembrance of You;

Now only the rapture of Your love remains.

नाम मेरा अब नाम नहीं,

चेहरा भी पहचान नहीं।

जो कुछ भी था, सब जल गया,

अब “मैं” का कोई निशान नहीं।

My name no longer defines me;

My face is no longer my identity.

Whatever I once was has burned away;

No trace of “I” remains.

ना मैं बंदा, ना मैं ख़ास,

ना मैं कुछ भी इस जहाँ।

एक साया था, मिट गया,

जब देखा तेरा…

Neither a servant nor someone special,

I am nothing in this world.

I was a shadow that faded

When I beheld Your…

ख़ुदा, हर रूह में तेरा पता,

मस्जिद में तू, मंदिर में तू।

हर धड़कन का तू ही सदा।

मैं सज्दा करूँ किस नाम से,

जब हर नाम तेरा ही है?

मैं इश्क़ करूँ किस शक्ल से,

जब हर रूप तेरा ही है?

O God, every soul bears a sign of You.

You are in the mosque; You are in the temple.

You are the voice of every heartbeat.

By what name should I bow before You,

When every name is Yours?

Which form should I love,

When every form is Yours?

जलने में ही सुकून मिला,

तू दर्द भी है, इलाज भी है।

रातों में जो रो-रो के मिला,

वो दिन में कभी ना मिला।

In burning, I found peace.

You are the pain; You are the cure.

What I found through weeping in the night,

I never found in the daylight.

जो खो दिया सब कुछ यहाँ,

तब जाके तेरा पता मिला।

है तू, तू ही तू—

मैं नहीं हूँ, बस तू ही तू।

When I lost everything in this world,

Only then did I discover You.

It is You—only You.

I am not—there is only You.

साँस भी तेरी, धड़कन भी तू,

जो दिखता है, वो भी तू।

ना कोई जवाब, बस तू ही तू।

The breath is Yours; the heartbeat is You.

Whatever I see is also You.

No answer remains—only You.

हर एक किताब, हर लफ़्ज़ तेरा,

हर बात तेरी, मेरा वजूद तेरा ख़्वाब।

Every book, every word is Yours.

Every utterance is Yours; my existence is Your dream.

मैं गिर के उठता रहा यहाँ,

तेरी रहमत ने सँभाला।

अब आँख जो खुली तो देखा,

तू ही था हर एक हवाला।

बस तू ही तू, बस तू ही तू।

I kept falling and rising in this world;

Your mercy sustained me.

When my eyes finally opened, I saw:

Every sign pointed towards You.

Only You, only You.
