 नमाज-ए-इ१क

दैर से उठकर काबे आया मीर जिसको चाहे ख़ुदा ख़राब करे।

Whether one worships in a temple or in the Kaaba, outward devotion can still strengthen the ego if the heart remains untouched.

आशिकी से मिलेगा ऐ जाहिद बंदगी से ख़ूदा नहीं मिलता।

O sincere seeker. the Divine is attained through love, not through mere ritual worship. Khụda seeks the surrender of the heart, not the performance of empty religious forms,

होती नहीं है यँ ही ये नमाज़-ए-इश्क याँ शर्त है कि ख़न से व्ज़ू करे

The prayer of Ishg demands the complete dissolution of the self in Fana---the annihilation of the ego before the Beloved,

यानी इश्क़ की नमाज महज ज़ाहिरी वुजू और रस्मी सजदे से अदा नहीं होती। इसके लिए आशिक को अपने दिल का खून देना, नफ़्स की ख़्वाहिशों को कुर्बान करना और अपनी अना को मिटाना पडता है।
