This composition is of the famous mystic poet Allma Iqbal on the first Kalma –of Koran/Islam, “La Ilaaha illAllah” (there is no god But God). The concept is the same of “EKO” of Guru Nanak Sahib, to which Hazur used to describe उस मालिक दे सिवा है की// There is nothing that is visible or invisible except the God. All forms are His manifestations, while man experiences duality and multiplicity.  “He was the primal Truth, has been the Truth in various ages, is the Truth now and shall remain the Truth (आद सच जुगाद सच है भी सच नानक होसी भी सच )”-- is the intrinsic  message as per my understanding of various verses recited so lovingly and beautifully by the singers that they relay some strange vibrations of peace/आनंद to the soul.

Khudi Hai Taeg, Fasan La Ilaha Illallah

The secret of Self/Divine- Realization is to deface the self because none but HE alone exists. The self or Hoame or Ego is a dull sword—that it has no sharp edges-thus uselessly brandishes fake power, unless there is grinding stone of ‘La Ilaha Illallah’ to transform it to Real sword—that is to rise from self to SELF.

Ye Dour Apne Baraheem Ki Talash Mein Hai
Sanam Kadah Hai Jahan, La Ilaha Illallah

Each age and time is fond of seeking or finding its own god (Abraham).  Each person in this world seeks many beloved—(worship of many gods or pursues polytheism) but there is the only One Beloved ‘La Ilaha Illallah’.

Ye Maal-o-Doulat-e-Dunya, Ye Rishta-o-Pewand
Butan-e-Weham-o-Guman, La Ilaha Illallah

This world of riches and wealth and of close relationships are just idols/manifestation of illusions and ego—all of them are fake except ‘La Ilaha Illallah’ .

Ye Naghma Fasl-e-Gul-o-Lala Ka Nahin Paband
Bahar Ho Ke Khizan, La Ilaha Illallah

The beauty of flowers and music cannot be confined to Time and they shall remain in all seasons that is till eternity-- because ‘La Ilaha Illallah’

Khird Huwi Hai Zaman-o-Makan Ki Zunnari
Na Hai Zaman Na Makan, La Ilaha Illallah 

Mind is woven with a thread of time and space –that this mind believes that time and space are real. There is no time and space in reality except La Ilaha Illallah
