मैथों यार भुलाया जांदा नहीं।

 मैथों यार भुलाया जांदा नहीं।

میتھوں یار بھلایا جاندا نہیں

जा दस दे दिलबर माहीं नूँ,

Go and tell my beloved:

मैथों यार भुलाया जांदा नहीं।

I cannot forget my Beloved.

सिर रख के यार दे क़दमां विच,

Having laid my head at my Beloved’s feet,

सिर फेर उठाया जांदा नहीं।

I cannot lift it again.

मेरा दिल इक ऐ, मेरी जान इक ऐ,

I have one heart and one life.

मेरा दीन इक ऐ, मेरा ईमान इक ऐ।

My religion is one; my faith is one.

दूजा यार बनाया जांदा नहीं।

I cannot take another as my Beloved.

जदों रब, रसूल, क़ुरआन इक ऐ,

When God is one, His Messenger one, and the Qur’an one.
